Scanband Wristbands
Thermal wristbands provide you with the opportunity to print your own wristbands in small quantities to your exact requirement.
Scanband wristbands can be imprinted in black only with text, images and bar codes. When bar coded these wristbands serve as an ID link to data in your system for patron management applications, including access control, tracking patron flow and pos (point of sale).
Unlike other coded ID cards and badges our Scanband thermal wristbands are designed for single use and are non transferable.

Well now you can... Scanband thermal wristbands can be printed on site with your direct thermal printer, allowing you to customize each wristband.
Dates, times or special groups can be easily identified by the information on the wristband. Scanbands have an adhesive closure and fit wrist sizes up to 22 cm.

Patron Entry - The ScanBand solution
RSA and other legislation places responsibility squarely on the shoulders of venue managers and their staff. How can you protect your livelihood?
Some questions to consider:
- Do you currently rely on security and door staff to identify barred patrons from memory?
- Do your bar staff need to remember when patrons arrived?
- Do you know how many times the same ID has been used to gain access to your venue?
- Can you readily recognize regular patrons and provide loyalty awards?
- Can you promote upcoming events?

The answer is the ScanBand!
- Only data entry is ID or Member No.
- The system displays:
- - Details relating to the ID.
- - The number of times the patron has entered the venue.
- - Date and time of entry
- - A unique entry number that can be used for prizes, etc.
- - Tax invoice details if required
- The system identifies whether the patron is currently barred
- Door staff have a screen display showing:
- - Date barred till
- - Reason for being barred
- Security staff can be altered and allows to deal with the patron without causing problems
- Can be used to warn patrons as a wristband can still be produced
- The wristband produced as patrons arrive records the ID or Membership No and the time of entry
- Bar staff can request to view the wristband and determine the length of time the patron has been in the venue. The information helps staff with RSA responsibility decisions
- Security staff can check ID's against those recorded on wristbands on a random basis throughout the night
- An ID can be used once only per night to gain access
- Consider:
- - A patron tries to remove a wristband by cutting it and taping it together.
- - The patron passes this to an under 18.
- - The patron attempts to re-enter the venue.
- The System:
- - Identifies that the ID has already been used
- - Displays a screen message to door staff showing:
- - ID No
- - Wristband not already used on
- On entering the ID the system displays the number of times the patron has entered the venue.
- Loyalty programs can be implemented using this information.
- Data accumulated can be used to send mail outs about upcoming events or promotions. Legal requirements need to be met in relation to this.
- Wristband designs can be changed on a regular basis.
- Current price for Wizid to prepare is $25.00 + GST per design. System development is aimed at allowing you to design your own.
- This allows promotion of upcoming events or sponsors.
- The system collects venue management date for reporting:
- Daily activity report showing number of patrons and revenue.
- History reporting of revenue and number of patrons in graphs.
- History by month and weekday. You select the period to report for.
